As Pride festivities kick off around the country, Canada’s unions are celebrating 2SLGBTQI communities. We are committed to the solidarity and activism needed in the face of growing attacks on human rights related to sexual orientation, gender identity, expression and sex characteristics.
We all deserve to feel safe at work and in our communities.
This Pride season, Canada’s unions are calling on the federal government to take action to address violence and harassment at work.
The first step is to ratify ILO C-190 – a global treaty that affirms the right to a world of work free from violence and harassment, and establishes a clear framework for ending it.
