In the midst of a global pandemic, essential workers are now facing heightened risk. The very least we can ask is that every worker has access to paid sick leave.

No one should ever have to choose between their job, their health and the public interest.

Our federal and provincial governments must work together on this. They must put in place a uniform policy of 14 paid, job-protected sick days for all workers in Canada.
