Sharing our stories for the National Day of Mourning

April 9, 2020

This National Day of Mourning, we recognize the many workers in Canada who have lost their lives or who have been injured at work.

While we honour the lives lost and those changed forever, we also stand with all essential workers at the frontline of the current crisis. Workers in healthcare, grocery stores, food processing, transport and so many others wake up every day and go to work in order to support each of us and our communities. Canada’s unions will continue to ensure every worker has the protections they need to do their job.

If you are a frontline worker or know someone who is also risking their lives at work, we want to hear from you.

Share your story with your local newspaper and help everyone better appreciate what it means to be a frontline worker in this unprecedented time.
