CLC President Hassan Yussuff on Lahore attack

Once again, the world is reeling with news of senseless violence targeting innocent civilians.

This time, women and children make up the majority of the more than 70 killed and 300 injured by an Easter Sunday bombing just metres away from a children’s play area in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park in Lahore, Pakistan.

On behalf of the Canadian Labour Congress, I extend my sincerest condolences to the victims and their loved ones, and heartfelt solidarity with the first responders on the scene.
