Resources

Union Stewards Handbook
The Canadian Labour Congress provides this Union Steward Handbook to help new union stewards, but anyone can learn from it. As a worker, whether you are in a union or not, there is much here that can equip you to face the many challenges of today’s more precarious employment environment.

Workers Together Action Resources
Together, workers are unstoppable. We can hold corporations accountable and expose anti-worker politicians. Check out the resources available to help you do everything from making a splash in the media, to starting conversations with friends, family and neighbours about how kick ass for the working class.

Resources and Handbooks on Ending Discrimination
Canada’s unions have a role to play in promoting fairness, equality and freedom from violence for all workers, regardless of age, race, religion, ability, sex, gender identity and gender expression, or sexuality. Here you will find resources to support unions in educating and empowering members so that all workplaces are welcoming and inclusive.

Facilitator Resource Portal
CLC Education is developing a one-stop spot to find everything from activities and energizers to scenarios and case studies for developing and delivering labour education. The portal is, and always will be, a work in progress. If you have a resource to contribute or would like to learn more about the portal, please email education@clcctc.ca.
